About our price checks

OOTD Peppi lets people keep a personal wishlist of products from online stores. When someone saves a product link, our server fetches that one public product page to read its name, image and price. If they ask us to track the price, we revisit the page occasionally.

How we behave

• Our requests identify themselves with the user agent token OOTDPeppi-PriceCheck and a link to this page.
• Scheduled checks follow your robots.txt rules for that token (or for all user agents).
• We fetch only individual product pages that a user saved — no crawling, no logins, no checkout pages.
• We space requests out per store (seconds apart), check each product at most a couple of times a day, and back off automatically when we receive errors or blocks.
• We never try to get around CAPTCHAs, logins or other access controls.

Opting out

Disallow OOTDPeppi-PriceCheck in your robots.txt and scheduled checks stop for your site. If you'd prefer to provide prices through an official API or affiliate feed, contact the operator of this service.
